SJC MEMORIES
ABOUT
Hi, I am Angus Kwong (born in 2001). (This is my first try of creating a website.) At school, we have delighting moments, exciting moments, touching moments, disappointing moments... School seems to be a 'stage' for numerous emotions, memories, and also youth. In SJC memories, you can see the beauty of my 'stage', St. Joseph's College. (St. Joseph's College is a secondary school located at 7 Kennedy Road, Central, Hong Kong.)
ST. JOSEPH'S COLLEGE
Established in 1875, St. Joseph's College is the first Catholic boys' school in Hong Kong. The Northern Block (the building on the right, built in 1920) and the Western Block (the building on the left, built in 1925) are both declared monuments of Hong Kong. SJC is one of the best schools in Hong Kong and the students of the school are called 'Josephians'.

GREEN AND WHITE DAY
In SJC, Open Day is called Green and White Day. Green and White Day is probably the best open day among all secondary schools around the world. Josephians have succeed in being the first school in Hong Kong to have theme song for its open day (since 2005) and the only school in Hong Kong to display fireworks in its campus (2005, 2010 and 2015). ITQ (INTERNAL TALENT QUEST)
ITQ, with a history of 29 years, is an annual event to showcase the talents of Josephians. Also, please do not be confused if you see female performers on the stage. We invite pop singers as a guest performer every year.

SPORTS
Josephians are good at sports, especially swimming and football. Although there isn't a swimming pool nor a standard size football pitch in St. Joseph's College, Josephians still managed to claim at least 4 awards in each Inter-school Swimming Competition throughout the past few decades (champion /first runner-up/second runner-up of A Grade (aged 17-18), B Grade (aged 15-16), C Grade (aged 14-15) and Overall) and also winning more than 100 titles of various football competitions. Poster and photos of the cheering team for this year's inter-school swimming competition were shown.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
制服は青春の証明だ! (meaning: School uniform is a certification of teenage!) By the way, hoodies are not part of the school uniform. (Although I wore hoody in some photos.)

As SJC memories is the remembrance of my third year in St. Joseph's College (still 3 more years to go), I may keep SJC memories in the current condition. Hence please visit the photo gallery of my school's website to get updated (maybe after entering 2017).
